5. (2sc in 1, sc in 3) around (30)
6-9 sc around (30)
10. (sc2tog, sc in 3) around (24)
11. (sc2tog, sc in 2) around (18)
12-13 sc around (18)
insert safety eyes and begin stuffing
14. (2sc in 1, sc in 2) around (24)
15. sc around (24)
16. (2sc in 1, sc in 3) around (30)
17. sc around (30)
18. (2sc in 1, sc in 4) around (36)
19-23 sc around (36)
24. (sc2tog, sc in 4) around (30)

continue stuffing while working rounds.

working in back of stitches: dc, dc, hdc, sc, slst

continue in this manner until the circle fold in half is a size you are happy with.
now scallop the edges by skipping a stitch, 5dc in1, skst, slst, 5dc in1, and so on around.
Now fold the tail just off slightly from half so you have 2 rows of scallops showing and attach to the body.
feet, make 2:
1. 6sc in mc (6)
2. (2sc in 1) around (12)
3. popcorn, slst, popcorn, slst, popcorn, slst and FO
attach all pieces to the body and add some yarn bits to the head.

I love this pattern, and I am in the process of making it now. I was wondering what size hook did you use and what yarn.
I honestly don’t remember what size hook I used…whatever worked best with the yarn so probably a 5mm(which is my favorite size). The blue is just regular old redheart and the varigated is redheart comfort I think. Cheap acrylic yarn works best for most crochet stuffies cause it holds its shape the best over time.
I finished making one yesterday and it’s even cuter than the picture showed. The dimension on the wings and feet really add to the design. Well done. Thanks for the pattern.
