So I have been home enough that I could have updated numerous times, but I have been so busy that when I do have a free moment I haven’t felt like it.
I had the brownie troop spend a weekend at my house. Nat and I had a good time with them, though I was happy to see them leave and have my house back down to a dull roar. Crafty wise I made them a few things. The butterfly key-chains were valentines gifts from me, and I also sewed/crocheted duty bags for them.

I also let the girls paint my livingroom window for their mural project. I am just today washing it off, but has been a nice and colorful decoration in my house for the last 2 weeks.

The only reason I am really washing it off, is cause I can’t see the birds in the front feeders, and you all know how much I love my birds.
Well it is no secret that there are days my kids drive me crazy. Thankfully I have some great activities that the kids love and don’t cost me too much money. I also prefer activities that use their imagination as much as possible. So the favorites in this house are lego(most of which has been handed down from my mom), books, coloring/painting, play-dough, dress-up….and so on, and so on.
Anyways the kids go through most of these activities everyday, which means lots of cleanup for me, but great fun and entertainment for the girls. A couple of days ago Bug made this creation, which she was especially proud of, so being the fantastic mom I am, I took pictures and am placing my favorite here.

Please disregard all dog and cat hair stuck in the play-dough…I said I was a fantastic mother, but I am a barely there housekeeper.
There is a hill in the park right behind our house. I have some fond and some not so fond memories of it. In my younger days much time was spent on it with various friends doing various activities. When we decided to move back home and buy a house here…we had no idea we would be buying somewhere with so many memories attached. It is nice to know that now our kids are going to be making wonderful memories of the same place and that I am able to share them.
Heres a peek of what we did today.

It would seem that Peter thinks he is a guitar hero and there for no longer has time to pay any attention to me. I like the game, it is fun, but my carpel tunnel only allows me to play 2 songs at a time…so not an addiction in the works for me. But this is not the norm I think. At least 10 of my friends on facebook had guitar hero somewhere in their status today. I am starting to worry that this is all I am going to see of my dearly missed husband.

A perfect example of this, his newest obsession would be how he was telling time today. Something like how it had been such a long time since ?, at least 3 tries at a couple of songs on medium. Between this, facebook and uwars I don’t think there is anything else he can get addicted to.
Oh, and for all those guitar hero junkies out there…Peter is so proud that he has 100% completed easy and is well on his way with medium.
